WHAT IS IT?
It is the certificate used to identify the place where the goods were cleared (shipped) for the importing country. This certificate attests the provenance of the goods.
WHEN TO ISSUE?
The certificate of legal provenance is a export certificate of a non-preferential nature, which is issued to exporting companies with the purpose of proving to customs the provenance (clearance for shipment) of the exported goods and declared in the certificate.
For example, a Chinese goods (origin) that is in Brazil (provenance) and will be imported by a company in the United States may have a certificate issued stating its provenance in Brazil.

REMEMBER - the document is issued according to the number of a commercial invoice, that is, for each new invoice it is necessary to request a new certificate of legal provenance.
